Thumbs up OMG just got SS installed

So I received my SS & bushings kit from TWM yesterday and did the installation today and all I can say is WOW...i freekin love this thing - misshifts seem to be gone and the throws seem to be alot shorter than what TWM said on their site or maybe that justs me. I do have a question though. when starting from a stop like going either to 1st of to reverse its seems a little rougher than it use to, is that normal while it gets broken in or is that the way its gonna stay?

btw....thx to to Kevin @ TWM for the info and support on the purchase

Just a word of caution for any ss on this car: You can actually shift too fast for 1-2...too fast for the syncros.

My reverse is not that bad getting into gear, but it takes a lot to get it out....I wish it was not like that.....

I wonder if there is any way to adjust the shifter cable, as my reverse is really pulling the cable to the end of its travel, which is why it is so hard....

mine was notchy like that at first... it got a lil better after a couple months.
i also removed it for a couple days, drove around, then put it back in, and twice as good now.. its weird.. i can actually wrist/finger shift now..
before I had to use my whole arm

enjoy!

It's not your feet. To test it: shift lightning fast from 1-2 and it will grind...That way you will get a feel for how fast you can safely shift

Someone more knowlegeable on the subject can correct me, but I think you need to just hold in your clutch for an extra mili-second or two... just gotta deal with it I guess, i.e. no mechanical fix that I've heard about!?
