Hi,

Our 2007 Civic shifter cable bushings and Corsport's are very similar in design and accomplish roughly the same task. They are a relatively simple bushing and there are not many ways the designs could differ, however the material they are made from is quite different.

We chose to make our bushings from bronzoil, which is signifigantly more expensive than aluminum because it is a material designed specifically for use as bushings in high stress applications. It is self lubricating and more dense than aluminum, and is less prone to wear over time.

Our bushings are slightly more expensive than Corsport's because of the material we chose, however when purchased with a short shifter the bushings cost approximately the same amount as Corsport's.

Check out our package deals here: TWM Short Shifter and Bushings

Thanks,

Kevin

When I tried to put it on my list on your site, it says it's $30 for shipping. How long does shipping usually take?

Where are you located? Shipping costs more for overseas orders, and the delivery time depends on the shipping option you choose. Orders are usually shipped the same day they are placed or the following day.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi,

If we ship with 3 day UPS today (Thursday), they would arrive to you on Tuesday. Give us a call at 1-877-655-0540 to order, or you can go to this page for the bushing combo kit and choose 3 Day shipping during checkout: TWM Shifter Bushings

How much is the combo shipped to 77449,for an 07 Si sedan? When I went to the site it shows the total as $135.60 but the shipping is $12.75, I thought it would come out to be the same as the quote below, yeah i know it's only $3 difference

You are correct, the prices quoted earlier are all $2.95 lower than the current prices. With the drastic rise of the Canadian dollar over the last several months our product costs have risen vs. what we sell for so we needed to adjust prices on our lower margin products such as the Civic short shifter. This is definitely still one of the best bang for you buck mods though :)

Thanks,

Kevin

How do the cable bushings affect the feel of the shifter compared to just the base bushings? Also, is there an installation guide for the cable bushings?

The cable bushings result in a more direct shifter feel. Some customers have reported a more noticeable improvement than the base bushings, but I definitely feel the difference each makes. The base bushings eliminate the flex coming from the assembly, wheras the cable bushings eliminate the flex coming from the shifter cables.

Here is a link to the install manual for the 2007 cable bushings: http://www.twmperformance.com/manual...e-bushings.pdf

Neither set of bushings (cable and base bushings) are mandatory, and one or the other can be installed individually. The majority of our orders are for the short shifter, cable and base bushings however they can be installed separately or not at all, it's up to you. I believe most people just want to install everything at the same time and end up with the best shift improvement possible.

Thanks,

Kevin
