I am thinking of ordering the SS/bushings and busings for my 06 Si.
Are those in stock or are the bushings back ordered?
Also can a reservist get a military discount as well or just full time military?

Thanks for the info!

Hi,

The short shifter, base bushings, and 2006 shifter cable bushings are all in stock right now. We'll have the 2007 shifter cable bushings in stock by the end of this week, but since you have a 2006 your order would ship right away.

If you are a reservist you are entitled to the military discount, check out this link to get your discount: TWM Military Discount

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Kevin

PM me with your full name and I'll give you your tracking number. If you ordered Monday it is very possible that you receive your order by the weekend depending on what part of the country you're in.

Are the student/military discounts on top of other discount codes and sales?

The way our shopping cart is configured only 1 coupon code can be entered per purchase. If you have a student or military discount code you may want to use that instead of the above spring sale codes since they only work on orders of over $150. The coupon codes above and the student or military discounts do work on parts that are already discounted on the site, like the short shifter and cable bushing combos.

Thanks,

Kevin

The cable bushings are not hard to install. Basically you just remove the air box, pull the cables off the transmission pins, remove the stock rubber bushings and replace them with the TWM bronzoil cable bushings. The whole install takes about 30 minutes or so.

Thanks,

Kevin

Yes, they would definitely be easier to install with an intake. You may not even have to remove the intake tube, but I'm not sure since all the installs I have done have been on stock cars with the airbox still in place. Worst case, even is you do have to remove or move the intake a little it is probably just a matter of loosening a couple of hose clamps.
