2007 Civic Shifter Cable Bushings!

Hi guys,

TWM is pleased to announce that we have finished design and testing of our brand new 2007 Civic Shifter Cable Bushings! These shifter cable bushings fit all models of the 2007 Civic including the Civic Si. We have begun our first production run and will be shipping all pre-orders by April 13th 2007. The bushings are now available for pre-order here: 2007 Civic Cable Bushings, or with a short shifter and base bushings here: TWM Short Shifter and Bushing Packages.

TWM’s new bronzoil shifter cable bushings remove unwanted flex from your car's shifter cables by replacing the rubber bushings on the transmission end of the shifter cable with precision machined bronzoil bushings.

These bushing kits are a fantastic way to improve your shifter at a very low cost. All kits are CNC machined using strict tolerances to ensure a "better than stock" fit and the highest level of performance possible. They also include all necessary hardware needed for installation and a detailed instruction manual

The bushing kits can be installed to improve the feeling with our TWM short shifter, the stock shifter, or any aftermarket short shifter. In addition, the bushings can be purchased at the same time as the short shifter and base bushings, all at a big discount! Check it out: Full TWM Short Shifter and Bushing Packages

Here's a picture to illustrate what is included with the Civic cable bushings, although the bushings themselves are slightly different than pictured:

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at sales@twmperformance.com, or by phone toll free at 1-877-655-0540.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I just ordered the package deal from you guys over the weekend. I haven't got the package yet (April 3rd, package arrival date) but I might need to exchange the shifter cable bushings for the newer ones... I have an 07 Si Sedan.. Is that possible?

Virtually every dimension on these bushings is different from the 2006's. The 2007 cable bushings have a different inside diameters, outside diameter, and height. I tested the '06 bushings on an '07 out of curiousity and there is no way they would fit the '07 correctly.

Hello guys, I was recently contacted by Kevin to prototype cable bushings for the new 07 civics. The reason is that the 07 bushings aren't the same size as the 06. So I drove out to his shop which didn't took much time. I must say his shop is really clean and well organized. The best part of his garage is that his machine shop is right next door therefore my stay at his shop didn't take too long. Something else that impress wase Kevin's passion for cars and attentiveness. He's always looking for best installations procedure for all his customer. He will not try to jeapordize my car in the process which I'm really glad.

After the installtion of the product with the combination of the weighted shift knob, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! the SHIFT WAS AWESOME!!! It was more define and exact! NOT chunky but accurate....WOW! I can't wait to put in the Short Shifter I got from him!

What is the reason for the change? From my understanding 06 & 07 Si are almost identical (except the VSA & reflash)

You're right, the 06 & 07 are almost identical in every way, but the shifter cables are different. You would have to ask Honda for the reasoning behind the change, I saw nothing wrong with the '06 cables but they definitely changed them for 2007.

Either way, installing our new 2007 Civic Cable bushings makes a huge improvement :)

Thanks for your order :)

We're on schedule to ship the bushings on the 13th of April, you will receive a tracking number from UPS as soon as they go out.
