Turbo Specialties...

Honda Civic Turbo Specialties K20Z3 Extreme Turbo Kit at PRO Civic.com

It came up when I got on Procivic... almost $1000 off there... that's with the save30 coupon.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had Experience with TSI or knows their website...

Looked at one, seems pretty negative... but they mostly stay ancient...

I have had the TSI kit for almost 2 months now and the original kit that they released does not work the fuel managements system that they sent does not work with the computer at all so if you put it in your car it will run super lean and you will have many issues with it. I am now waiting for the new AEM fuel injector controller unit that TSI is tuning as we speak and see what kind of power it yields. if they are not able to make it work I will have no other alternative but remove the system. right now I have difficulty driving the car normally after coming out of the highway because when you come up on a red light or stop sign and you have to stop the car will drop the rpm's below 500 rpm and just shot off quietly at the point where you will not notice that the car is off so I have to down lift to lower gears and not fully engage the clutch until Im at about 1000 rpm on 2nd gear other wise the car will shot off. my advice to whomever wants to buy this kit is to wait and see what the outcome is from the AEM fuel injector controller

Just an update on this: TSI is in the final stages of adjusting the AEM FIC-based fuel system for the K20Z3 turbo kit. We have corresponded with 07blacksi, who is understandably frustrated with this kit, and offered to send out an FIC unit before the kit is finalized. 07blacksi, we are going to email or call you regarding some further options. Again, we apologize the for this situation and we are trying our best to resolve it, eventhough we don't have direct control over the kit or when it will be finalized. In our honest opinion, the kit will work fine with the FIC because TSI has already had the R18 kit dynoed at Church Automotive and it works very well (dyno results and more info will be posted soon after the final dyno trip). The R18 and K20Z3, in terms of the ECU interface, are basically the same (the same "brain"). In fact, TSI already has the K20Z3 kit (w/ the FIC) running on an 07 Si test car but I believe it still needs another dyno trip to optimize the power and maybe fix some other issues.

By the way, my name is Stu and I'll probably be doing most of the posting on this forum for PRO Civic. We just recently sign up as a vendor on the 8th.

Stu...Can I ask some questions? You are using the PNP boomslang harness correct? Are you familar with the FIC's setup or is that being left up to the Engineers?

I don't know the details of how the FIC is setup but I do know there were definitely some hurdles to overcome in the making of these two kits.

AND THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOME GUYS!

Who would know the details if not the developer of the kit? I thought this was your kit?
