Cool Greddy Turbo Owners

alight guys, i just purchased a greddy kit ($2800 new). i should receive it
shortly, since greddy is currently updating the kit (pnp manage). i'm excited
to get this install and see what type of gains i would get. i understand that
ajp produces more whp, but i rather have something more "streetable".

my questions from current owners:
what type of gains are people seeing? (i did my search, but every thread ends up, "go get the ajp kit")
has anyone purchase the revised kit yet?
how's the quality of the built?

more insight is definately a plus.

i was thinking bout getting the kit. from what i hear greddy has improved the kit. the only down side is that other fg2/fa5's with a 50 shot will either keep up or beat you.

Greedy posted around 25% more horse power. So if your baseline dyno is around 180hp to the wheel, you could expect around 225hp to the wheels.

no sense of getting the greddy kit with only 25% gain.. i'd go with AJP or REDSHIFT.. the guy ENRIQUE have what 200-220whp on his LX AUTO COUPE untuned.. still fast and sound nice

wow, this makes me think twice about the kit. i was aiming for about 250 to the wheel. i was hoping with proper tuning, i can get it to the numbers i want.

estrike: you would have the same set up i have now (injen and evo exhaust).
i hope the tune shop can get me to 250whp.

what else to get with the kit to get to 250?

you could def get the kit to do 300whp with tuning, and more boost.

a 3" exhaust, hondata reflash, and cams would also help a good bit to

The shop was telling me a test pipe would get you to where you want to be. I'm thinking about it.

psshhh, traction is for pussies. j/k, I strongly considered the Greddy kit. It's just so... plug and play, and well, polished. You have the Greddy reputation for quality. Go for it.

IMO the Greddy kit is good for a daily driven car. You may just get 25% more Horse power but Torque is where it gainned alot. With the greddy kit, torque improve by almost 40%. Theres other kits out there that makes more horse power and torque but when do you really need all that power (300+) (Daily driving)?

dynos would be nice.
question...some people were telling me that the 3inch exhaust was too much for this kit, any insight? i know ajp has a 3in exhaust, but are there any other
company out there?
