I'm not sure the source of the 87 but either way if you're going to push something that hard don't you think you would be sure of what gas is in it.

U right. I'm pretty sure while tuning it they could've seen all the knocking. It probably was filled with 87 by the dealer.

Pretty sure it was the shop that is now 4130 fab...not rick, Rick went his seperate ways from them...but I'd need to check thr thread again

You guys think the install with a greddy kit isn't too bad? I'm planning to install it with my friend(which is a mechanic) he has worked with all the b and h series with the older models

You should be alright, easier if you have a spare oil pan to tap into.

^^ I got a spare oil pan locally for cheap. So hopefully we will get this done this weekend or week. Might as well order my etune now ahead of time haha any idea I could get ecu pins or do I have to get it from hondata?

They are free from hondata. Probably your best bet

I'm on 5psi freaking clutch gave out on me on the dyno I wanted to make at least 280-290 and I was just about there on mimimual boost so ya I'm retuning after the shop finishes a k20R swap in a Lotus and tune it the owner will squeez me in and yes 261 is fun like I spin too but after about mid 2nd gear I hook up and start coming back but ya 300whp is reasonable for the time being youll enjoy it for sure
