I spoke to Jeff Evans - he said they did not realize you had one of those aftermarket engine damper things holding the motor in the wrong position with the subframe out. apparently the rear motor mount was left loose when they mocked up everything and the front engine mount was in and tight when everything got clocked. he unbolted the damper set everything back in place and is all good now - he said he will be calling you shortly with an update

just got the update too thank you for the help.But for the record this is a good learning experience for me.There are tons of si's out there with ETD lol hopefully someone come's across this info and it proves useful to someone.

The ETD does make sense in a way after looking at the photos for a while i can see how the ETD would put the engine in a different position causing the fitment issues and everything to be out of line. The install isnt complete yet but things are going for the better ill keep everyone posted.

i believe everything will be OK

As far as kit installation goes, I have installed a Full-Race kit on jackstands while laying on back not only twice but did this install TWICE! Just don't want anyone who's interested in this kit to be discouraged that it couldn't be done by yourself in the backyard.

I'm a satisfied and happy customer of Full-Race and wouldn't have it any other way.

I can vouche for this I was there on the second install

heres another pic for Comparison. Somebody want to explain to me how that downpipe would mates to the 3071. Here are two Garrett turbos identical housings why are the flanges different. One is flat type in the other one is almost indented with a groove.

Garrett v band flanges I believe are propriatry just like the Tial ones are. They only mate to the same type.

I think there is more than two. There is precision v band, tial's, GT v band, t-31 v band...

Life would be too easy. That's why a vibrant v band is so much. They all change the cut on the flange slightly

not sure if i am gonna keep at 450whp daily. Seems to much for a stock engine lol. I want the motor to last me for another year before i build it next year with rods and pistons.

Well its not like its always making 450hp and only in your higher gears. That GTX3071 is making great power!

stock motor @ 450hp will live all day long. Especially with a Evans tune on it he tunes safely.

power wise i am super happy!! i was hoping for 400whp and call it a day, but when i got the call "hey steve the car made 450@13psi" i said " holy **** turn it down jeff" lol.

For a street car 400whp is fine with me at least. And i didnt even do a 100 octane tune either, i wonder what it would do @ lets say 17psi on 100 octane. But jeff did say my Injector duty cycle @ 13psi is around 95% which is kinda high so i might not do a race tune til i can put a better fuel system in it.

Right know it has 1000cc ID with a detachworsk 340lp pump and the duty cycle is at 95% at 13psi
