Oh ok, well if you do it, it does fit! And it's really not much to cut, but my guess is you really want fogs, but I have to admit I really like the 09 front end even without fogs lol

this is similar to putting a huge FMIC on an EK or EG civic, you need to cut the plastic that is not visible from the outside in order to clear the core on the inside. take your time and go slow, its not going to take much time, and its not that hard to do, just a little messy. Also if you want to be super particular about the bumper install, visit an autobody-supply place and purchase "panel bond". you can use this 2part epoxy to bond the grille to the bumper and it will NEVER move.

I have some photos from other customers I will try and find in my emails- its worth doing this in order to run our large/highly efficient Civic Si vertical flow Front Mount Intercooler otherwise you will have a smaller intercooler choking up the K series motor from breathing at its full potential and IAT will be high, leaving power on the table (soxfan143 can attest).

hey geoff just curious, how does the full race IC compare to something like a treadstone IC with equal dimessions that is also verticle flow? i really like how yours mounts on the bumper beam and looks almost like a radiator to the point where it looks super sleeper

it a huge differance. talking bout a 6" differance from there the bumper meets the grill. bigger grill on 09-11...

i tried my best wit the dremel. the way the bumper sits with the intercooler, i did the best i can with guess and test without over doing it...

i was soo fed up i frankly didnt give a damn at that point. 4 hours of dremal and cutting with guess and testing. there is NO WAY to get it to fit cleanly. i dont care what you say. if you cut out only the back, u have a huge gap by the headlights. there isnt a win with this bumper. theres gon be a hole somewhere

o ya and that is with the bumper beam adjusted as low as it can go...
