this is similar to putting a huge FMIC on an EK or EG civic, you need to cut the plastic that is not visible from the outside in order to clear the core on the inside. take your time and go slow, its not going to take much time, and its not that hard to do, just a little messy. Also if you want to be super particular about the bumper install, visit an autobody-supply place and purchase "panel bond". you can use this 2part epoxy to bond the grille to the bumper and it will NEVER move.
I have some photos from other customers I will try and find in my emails- its worth doing this in order to run our large/highly efficient Civic Si vertical flow Front Mount Intercooler otherwise you will have a smaller intercooler choking up the K series motor from breathing at its full potential and IAT will be high, leaving power on the table (soxfan143 can attest). |

dude, you butchered that bumper. its a lot easier than that, and there is typically enough adjustment in the bumper beam to drop it down a tiny bit, no need to get that crazy with it at all, your cuts look drunk or just like you didnt give a damn
