Gt35r. Sidemount manifold. Reliable 375whp. Everything included in kit. Honestly, I don't think it should take them long....Most of stuff from rsx should fit fairly well, maybe a few adjustments to placement of turbo on manifold in engine bay, new ic piping and they've just gotta tune it...

please explain how a manifold design is the cause of boost creep? From what I know(I.E. have read extensively)boost creep is caused by a wastegate that is too small for the application.the solution to that, buy a bigger wastegate.

Yea, i've never read of boost creep...The sidewinder just gives longer runners which=more exhaust velocity which should help it spool a little faster.

not a fan of the greddy kit. don't like the cast manifold that much or the t25 flange. at least on the FR there's the option to upgrade to a larger turbo. the robotic tig welds are nice too.

by the time i replace all the crappy parts that come with the greddy kit like external wastegate, 3" downpipe, bov, etc... i might as well have bought the FR kit to begin with.

also, a quick look at the FR site will show that you can get the gt28rs with most of the turbo kits they sell including b-series and k-series kits.

what flange are most of these bolt on kits using?

you get a t25 there is basically no room to grow...

i have seen gt3076r's with t25 turbine housings(those are good for over 500hp). there are adapters to fit bigger turbos to t25 flanges. hey GReddy guys chime in here but I thought the GReddy kit used a different flange then a T25.

Youre right on replacing the parts of the kit and yeah, you might as well get a full race kit...but im not sure the goals you want (300whp low-mid range power) will be what Full Race is shooting for. If you are stuck on a gt28rs, and mid range power, buying a full race turbo kit might be a waste of your money

My GF is giving me some crap about spending so much money on the car now that I might have to cool down a bit and bite the bullet and buy her a ring. That will keep her off my back for a bit. But a ring will cost just as much as the FR kit I want. lol....Decisions decisions. wife or car?.......lol......

I was where u were at last month... So instead of going SRT, i have a GReddy Kit, and she has a 2 carat diamond ring.. Win Win situation.. I have boost, she has diamonds.. I get sex, and I get boost.

So with the ring, it made me happy on the inside, even though I wont be pushing like I wanted too... But hey, you can make more money and upgraded the car later, at least she wont be nagging the whole time..

Lol.. So true bro. But I just don't know.

But back on topic. now some one said something about boost creep from a manifold not being possible? Not true. A manifold absolutely cause boost creep. Especially a poorly designed one or someone trying to make a knock-off and not doing it properly. There are multiple ways a manifold can cause creep. Poor runner design, poor collector design and poor wastegate location. Though a poor wastegate is the most common reasons of creep a manifold is right up there.

Now for the last time, Full-Race is NOT, I repeat, NOT making a sidewinder manifold for the 8th gen Si. I will say it again. There will NOT be a sidewinder manifold for the Civic. Nor will they just retrofit the RSX kit or any part of it. Please just hang tight for Geoff to join us. I believe he's waiting for sponsor status so he can do his thing. But I could be wrong on that. Just a guess.
