Also, the amount of people on this site make up a very small amount of the actual people that are boosted. And another thing is the people you are reading about that are not having any issues are the people that belong to a forum. These people learn from the mistakes of others that post their disasters and how to avoid them. Go work for a speed shop and then tell me the same thing. You WILL have a problem eventually somewhere. Trust me.
I don't doubt there will be problems. I'm just saying that it sounds a bit excessive to me that you need 5k+ in reserve at all times because of problems that will crop up.

Its not a concrete value, the point is that if you arent prepared for what youre getting into, youre setting yourself up for disappointment and dispair. I understand your side of it though...i dont keep 5k ready but i keep in mind that when something does break or go wrong, i will be forking out some serious cheddar to fix it.

Ignorant religious comments removed. Post anything like that again and action will be taken against the offender's account. Back to topic..

It's good to know Full-Race has finally started the process and is looking for feedback from the community. I'd personally be satisfied with a 350whp-500whp daily driven car. Full-Race is on the top of my list.

It's going to be a tough competition in the Forced Induction world for the 06+ Si for this year!

My goals... low-mid 12s, daily driven. Though Im on a different platform so it doesnt matter, lol. Should be doable, though.

Regardless, Im happy Full Race has stepped up, even though I knew ahead of time and actually wrote most of the OP

First and foremost,

Who are you to question my experience with high-powered cars?

To answer your question - No, I have never driven a 500hp FWD car before but have been a passenger in hundreds of 350whp+ Hondas.

As for RWD...In the past, I've owned a '93 Toyota MR2 Turbo pushing a little over 400whp and it's a lot more difficult to control knowing it's a mid-rear platform especially with that much power. I've also had a '91 Toyota Celica All-trac(same 3S-GTE, but AWD) and making a bit over 350whp.

I've driven a few stock Corvette Z06's and DSM's but that's not the point. The reason why my range is a bit broader is due to my experience and comfort of handling power at those levels.

I apologize if I offended you and if I did, It wasn't intentional.

Now

Ok. everyone relax. I don't think he meant anything by it. I think he was saying that 500+whp in this car will be extremely difficult to get to the road. but lets not let this thread turn into a big pissing match. This thread was started for Full-Race to see what kind of interest is out there and what we want in a kit.

On that note, I just got a PM from Geoff and there is some good stuff coming this coming week. I didn't get any specific info other than that. So stay tuned and keep the bickering to an absolute minimum. Actually keep the bickering OUT of here. Thank you.
