Hey Geoff, I see you recommended a few tuners in the previous posts. With that said, I live in Chandler and would LoCash be the only place you would recommend for tuning?

here are some dynoplots showing our expected spool and peak power for our most popular 30R and 35R turbokits.

Please keep in mind these dynos used smaller cams, smaller intake manifold and *slightly* more restrictive turbokits than our new 06 Si setup, indicating our 06 Si kits will make even more power.

30R kit @ 20psi, small cams (you guys will be +20whp here)

35R kit @ 14psi and small type s cam + intake manifold (i expect your motors will make ~25whp more)

35R kit @ 24-25psi and small cams, small intake manifold, restrictive exhaust setup (i expect your motors + thermal will make ~40 more whp)

Geoff, so I wont run into alot of lag with the hta86? All my friends in my car club roll around in 600 hp rx-7's built by PF Supercars. So im not trying to be hanging around in the back anymore...lol... we are a car club based out of northen ny called Boost Junkies you should check out the page on myspace. All we got is Rx-7s, 240's and civic's. Like I said when I go to the track I am running on slicks so I want the best set up for running at the track on slicks but then again I dont want to have crazy amount of lag on the street. And yeah its just like you said with the GT45. I would take people for joy rides and when I punched it they would be like "yo your car isnt that fa....HOLY SHIIIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!" So yeah I dont want that anymore. I want them to **** their pants almost instantly when i punch it. but if im gonna get a little lag in the street but better numbers at the track that is something I can deal with.

building the engine and using a reasonable sized turbo will reduce lag.

For the guys that want big boy blocks for the kit, just call erl performance. They build some of the best k-series blocks out. That superdeck block, nice set of cams, springs, retainers, head studs and a full-race 35R kit. 600 here you go all day... im stoked..

Only real downside will be the fuel system. To make the big power, were going to need similar fuel setups like the RSX. Return system, regulator, rail but again, thats for the big stuff. For the 300-325 and under cars shouldn't be a big issue.

Geoff, I got my Greddy installed right down the street from you...over at Tri Tech Motorsports. It's right next to Locash.

Maybe next time I am on that side of town I will stop in to see what's up, but I got a baby on the way and it will be a little while before I have the extra coin to drop. And I'm happy at 277whp...for now =)

However, is the RSX Greddy upgrade pretty much the same for us that run the kit on our Si's?

I live about 1/2mile from a few places that sell E85 I would be really interested in that but would our stock fuel lines be ok? I know E85 can be corrsive.

I know bigger injectors would be mandatory because of ethanol not having the same combustion energy (like 1/3 less right?). Do you have a recommendtion for injectors since the 650s would probably not be up to the task anymore?

geoff that is not on pump is it?

what fuels were used for these setups here?

what compression ratio does these motors have compared to boost and our compression?

also, with 9:1 what could be expected?

Geoff, I would like to take a moment and thank you for taking the time to keep us in the loop with information on the development of this kit. There are alot of companys out there that build there kits with no actual information from the consumer on what they want, or would like to have. Being a previous kit owner, I know that nomatter what your final product will be, it will be a step above the rest! Thank you once again!
