I think we can safely cut out the idea of the sidewinder for fitment and heat issues. If Full race deals with the fitment issues and makes it fit then I'm sure people will find ways to deal with the heat.

Interesting stuff, but it was mentioned already that a sidewinder style manifold won't rly work with our car's bay. I realize that many of you want it, but unless Full Race has some pretty sick secrets, it's mighty far fetched.

If Full Race doesnt want to have to deal with a bunch of fitment and heat issues, i would tell them to look at AJPs tubular manifold setup as said before. Tried and proven for over 2 years.

As for the turbo size, i dont know what brand they want to go with.

Garrett: 30R is good but you need higher boost levels to acheive the same power as a 35R. As we know higher boost levels are dangerous for our motors.

Precision: 6262s (same as AJP). I know people might be hesitant to buy it because it is closer to a 35R but it has been proven to spool decently quick and provide incredible numbers.

So for the general numbers people are looking for which seem to span from about 300 whp to 550 whp, I would say the 6262s is an excellent choice. 1. It has been tried and proven to make the power. 2. 300 whp at 4.4 lbs of boost and 420 whp at 11. The numbers speak for themselves.

Also these numbers will be even better along with drivability and reliability with the introduction of FlashPro.

here is what I would want from a kit if I were going that route:

Manifold-sidewinder style that fits under our stock cowling
turbo- I heart the 6262s
injectors- i would want the injector dynamics 725cc
fueling- a prefabbed kit using AEM fuel rail and -6 an for the fuel line and return with a gauge on the rail
FMIC- any of the name brand ones with these approx dimensions 7.8" X 22" X 3.5" and 2.5" piping that fits good.
MAF relocation
FP or AP for tuning with a good base map
4" intake piping, the air filter mounted outside the engine compartment would be a huge plus.
3" downpipe and 3" HFC
Tial 44mm wastegate w/closed dump
HKS SSQ BOV

WHP goal of 500 on 8psi of boost. Thats all I can think of right now, but thats how I would do it.

you can pretty much count on that this kit wont come with any tuning or fuel system components. they never have before. although they will help you in finding what you need.

What about two kits, one for low boost designed for a stock engine and a high boost kit for built engines. It would be a good idea, but I guess it might delay the producion process.

Eh, that would not be a good way for them to make money, that can easily be changed with a different turbo and tune for people with built motors

I have been in contact with Geoff for a week or so. Maybe you got someone other than Geoff himself. He has been in contact with Hondata. They were waiting for them. This is legit guys. This thread was started for the sole reason to see what kind of interest is there for Full-Race to step in. If there is no interest with LEGITIMATE buyers then there will probably NOT be a kit.

Well Nick, Full-Race makes their own FMIC's and pretty much everything else that can be made. The only thing that they will include in the kits that they do NOT make is the actual turbo and wastegate. They will not offer any tuning solution, though Hondata IS recommended. They only make the heart and soul of the systems. And 500whp on 8psi is NOT gonna happen for a streetable kit with quick spooling and a broad powerband. Maybe with a ginormous turbo that won't start spooling till 5k. Lol...But I wouldn't mind 500whp on 8psi either.

i would love to run 4.4lbs for 300whp haha, the thought of I will probably have to run 11lbs with my greddy kit to get the same effect..
