DBW isnt the problem with standalones and the new Si, its a ***** to get the dash to work correctly, which would mean no speedo, temp gauge, gas gauge, or tach.....
also as far as the "kpro" for the new S2K and TSX is concerned its nothing more than a piggy back its self....

Why is everyone so obsessed with a stand alone system? All that matters is full engine control. However this thread is not about tuning. Hopefully the swift kit is nice. I can't honestly say that I would invest that much money though just to keep up with stock evos and stis.

On the other hand, if you guys were able to wire in a Haltech, why not wire in an AEM ems from the rsx to have full engine control? I dislike retarding timing through use of the knock sensor.

seems like your one of them that prefer an EMS rather than a piggy back,

but yes back on topic with 300 or so to the wheel it puts the Si in another level of cars...

I will definitely do so, just depends on what they can do for the price, I've already got my Greddy Kit priced out and EVERYTHING (BOV, Gauges, EBC, kit, install, and tune) is only 5,300.

If Swift can beat that, and they said in an earlier post they could, I'll be driving up ASAP

Ah, I hate that, the whole "well I have a lot and can spend it on just this" theory. It never works out
