AJP Road Monster Package for high horsepower | All Japanese Performance

Ok, I know i've head some **** about AJP in the past screwing over someone or some **** like that.. but WHAT THE F? The kit they have, why is no one else putting down numbers like them? Just checked out their site and i don't know.. i think they deserve more credit.

its all about the turbo size they are using, but on another note it is rumored that their dyno reads on the high side, ive yet to see where anyone dyno's their kit on a dyno from another shop.....

Seriously? You've been a member here since April 2007 and "why aren't more people putting down numbers like them," is the best you can come up with?

im just saying their kit is legit, it comes with its own custom hondata reflash and if you install it correctly it puts down serious numbers. Not saying i would do it, just seeing redshift and all these guys say their turbo is on the way makes me wonder what AJP did differently. Why are they able to produce this **** and redshift is still taking a ****.

read my post about their dyno numbers, its been rumored that their dyno give higher number than what people would get if they were to dyno on another dyno....

*please note this is all speculation, and since nobody with their kit has dyno'd elsewhere there is no way to prove it

^i've heard that too...but you're right, it's just speculation.

OP: If you think this kit/AJP is really that badass, talk to FirmHonda about it...he knows whats up.

Dyno Info | All Japanese Performance ~ NO disrespect, just ran across that. im just putting out a thought, don't flame me. im already positive i'm going with CTSC but i just remember about AJP so i looked at their site and saw it was updated. they have a little FAQ that explains themselves now..(Frequently Asked Questions | All Japanese Performance allll the way at the bottom i think)

they claim they are getting same numbers as Hondata so i presume that its calibrated. but at anytime they could easily mess with the calibrations to favor higher HP reads. anyways, dead topic as i can see. AJP= on 8th i guess

yes that is the case, something you should read as well:

then you should be well aware of the fitment issues that have been discovered when any other shop besides their own has tried to put the kit on......fact of the matter is this, if you live near them or are willing to travel to them, go for it. However, if you are planning on having their kit shipped to you i dont suggest it

I want a turbo that spools after my rev limiter...haha

jk, but I would like to see a dyno...the peak hp is sick but I want to see the power curve lol...its kind of like really big turbo supras that make big power but only at high rpm. The civic is a high rpm car anyway though...so maybe this kit is fitting lol....no power till 6k

turbo that are out right now are all bs to me... i say sc are much safer than the turbos that are out right now... they don't give that much hp but hey look at the bright side.. it safer and gives a lil boost to the si...
