Hey thanks guys. I do my best to help all you guys have the best experience possible with your rides. Individual gauges are the best route for ease of viewing while driving. Plus they look better.
I just personally like them so much better for the reason of ease of viewing while you are driving. Plus the good ones have warning lights and some even have warning sounds to warn you when any of the readings are in the danger zone or when they enter any warning you set. The Dashhawk is a really nice but I personally don't like the way it displays the AFR reading. You can't tell where exactly the tenth number is. If the AFR reads 12.whatever it could be 12.9 or 12.0. And there is a big difference between the 2. Plus it looks like it would be extremely hard to read while driving especially when it's sunny.

ive got dashhawk and love it, it it can have up to 7 parameters on one screen, so you can have AFR and Boost/Vac on the same screen. I find that easier to do than have to scan at multiple gauges, id rather look at one screen and get all my info. i also have no problem reading it when im moving... Another plus is it can DATALOG. and to touch on what sox said about the warning, it can do that as well, and its 100% custom as to what your warning levels are, and its easy to read day or night

Boost and a wideband is all u need but it does get cluttered unless u have the xcelerate gauge pod (eye candy). A good set up is the defi since it will match ur interior, but for wideband, I'm not sure they make any.

Honestly, depending how sleeperish you want it to look, you can run the wideband and an oil pressure gauge in the center console like AJP does, and run the boost gauge in the glovebox or any other area that you can "hide" it, at least that's what I'm gonna do.
The excelerate gauge pod is a good idea, but I have enough light with the speedo, I don't need 2 more sources of light during night driving. |

Hahaha. It will be better if they have a dimmer function. I like my gauges with good peripheral...I had my boost gauge set up like the srt aem...but I have to constantly have to look down to monitor it.

The boost gauge tends to stay pretty consistant, and if you have a decent boost controller, your boost levels won't change much. I currently have my AFR gauge and boost controller a la AJP and have no problem reading the AFR's most of the time. Once the boost gauge arrives, I'll be moving the boost controller somewhere else and running the boost gauge right next to the AFR one.

Only if I had enough to buy the magden all in one monitoring system. I do agree that it does stay consistent. The gauges just reminds me of little kids when they say "look at me look at me"...I always monitor it even though I know everything is fine.
