You can make your own Magnetic bolt for free if it is long enough... Just take a small guage, like 20-22 ga, insulated wire and wrap it around the drain bolt, (Like a coil) and flash the ends across your battery terminals.. works great for magnetizing screw drivers.. As far as Change intervals... OEM Recommended unless using AMSOIL MTF... up to 3 X OEM Interval. Doc |

You asked about buying magnetic drain bolt... if the bolt is long enough to get a few wraps of wire (22 ga is telephone wire) just wrap it around the bolt leaving a tail on each end and flash your battery with the ends.. it will magnetize whatever steel you have wrapped the wire around.. It is jst like making a coil. Doc |

thats a good idea but i would be scared that something might happen and i might lose the wire and shit. I have the skunk2 magnetic drain bolts and they were like 25 bucks. i did see the other day at autozone that they have mag drain bolts for like 5 bucks. i dont think the bolt will fit in your motor oil one tho. the skunk 2 come with 2 bolts. 1 for the tranny and the other for the motor. |

i have about 2000 miles on my baby and i was wondering if i changed the mtf now if there would be a problem? my tranny feels empty almost and i drive a r18. by empty i mean when i shift sometimes i can hear the car going into gear like metal to metal (if that makes sense). but it doesnt bothering me i was just wondering if i changed it now if it would fix that problem and if it was good/bad for the car.
