same here now bro.... after i first finished the amsoil swap, my gears were SOOO smooth i was like but now its like they arent as smooth anymore, maybe im just used to the smoothness?

but anyway, i have also gotten the 2nd gear grind twice in one week when shifting quickly @ high RPMS.. now everytime i have to shift slower and i dont hear that grind

I am getting this 2nd gear grind more and more and I don't like it.
Switching back to Honda Gear Oil (New and improved version) and hoping the 2nd gear grind will go away.

Only if you have any problems. I believe the 07 models already came with the new and improved Honda MTF so you should be okay.
I just switched from Amsoil back to the New Honda fluid. I have been getting 2nd gear grind using Amsoil after about 3k miles with it in.
I never had this issue with the Old Honda fluid. I can't say yet if I still have this issue with this fluid but time will tell. I will give it a couple of thousand miles and see what happens.

Don't use the Royal Purple! It is not recommended for our Hondas!!!
According to the RP site they are recommending their 5w40 or 10W40 Motoroil. If you don't have any problems don't change it!!

I didn't have any problems either and when I swapped fluids the problems started. I switched back to the New Honda Fluid and see if that will get me back to normal.

Like the old saying says: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I like the RP Motoroil Been running it for the last 2 oil changes and it seems to give me slightly better gas mileage. Of course that could also be because it is just now getting broken in I have about 12k on my Si right now and it is running better than ever

I have SI number 523 and I am going to do this MTF. I need a firm answer on which Amsoil I should use. Is it 5w30 MTF? Please let me know for sure because if i jack up my ride, my wife will roundhouse kick me.
