and also who changed their crush washers? necessary for MTF? do it to be safe?

Drain is by it. It isn't persay what a normal bolt looks like. You just stick the ratchet in there with no socket.

one more question for someone who did this without a lift... if the car is on 2 jackstands up front can you do the swap with the car raised? like does it matter if the car isnt level while you're draining and refilling? will the levels be off?

The levels will be off. Tranny fluid should always be done on a flat surface.

Give it time.... Ever since I switched I am getting the 2nd gear grind but only at high rpm shifts. That never happened with the Honda MTF.
I think I am switching back to the new improved Synthetic Honda MTF and see if that is any better. BTW, I never had any issues with the 3rd gear or any other gear until I switched fluids. Now second gear grinds all the time if I do High RPM shifts. (Let's say from 7000rpm on)

Don't worry, we're in the same boat. I'm grinding second an awful lot lately. I tend to shift fast and I just friggin' help it. Even at low RPMs, I'll flick the shifter really fast and hear that slight grind. The shifts are smooth, but I can't stand that second gear synchro.

when you're under the car... the transmission is to the left of the engine oil drain bolt its pretty simple to know its the tranny

there is a picture in your owners manual... its in the changing your oil/tranny fluid section

it will show a picture of the filler bolt, thats a 17mm bolt... then, below the filler bolt... the drain bolt is a square... you just stick the ratchet in there without a piece on it.... ya cant miss it
