I used Royal Purple Synchromax. Works really well. But the choice is yours.
Lots of stuff out there that will do the trick

How do you like the Royal Purple? I checked their web site and they don't recommend the Royal Purple MTF Synchromax for Hondas. They actually recommend their 10W30 MotorOil in the transmission for our cars. However it is compatible with GM Syncromesh so I figure it should work in our cars as well.
So far I haven't seen any adverse effects using Royal Purple. Shifts smooth and silky Never had any issue with the 3rd gear crunch and I still don't. It may glide into gears a little easier but I can't tell any major difference from the Honda stuff that was in there before.

Does anyone know the proper torque for the fill/drain bolts? The user manual doesn't state it.

I just tightened the bolts until they felt tight. I would say maybe 20lbs or so. Don't overtighten those because they could strip. Just use common sense and you should be okay.

Changed my MTF to Amsoil today (Canadian 07 LX Sedan). Didn't have too much problem shifting before, just felt a little notchy. Now shifting feels smoother.

you just gonna have to find the drain plug on the transmission, and fill it up on the specs, check the manual for that...

it took too long for me to fins the fill and drain plugs on my trans. check out my DIY on drilling new drain and fill holes into the transmission. It was easy to thread the holes too, since aluminum is such a soft metal. I encourage you to use a quality drill bit set.

i thought it was pretty funny too, however i had to use the cork from a champagne bottle to close the fill hole i drilled. ill have to wait until tomorrow to thread it and use a bolt to properly seal it.
