sorry to ask if it's already been asked.
but the short shift kits fit no matter what right?
like if it says SI it'll still fit base model right?

Hi SloWhite,

The TWM short shifter adapter will fit every stock Civic model, Si or base model.

Thanks!

Get the TWM Adapter, Base Bushings and Cable Bushings. Best $100 mod for your car. TWM's service is nothing short of stellar and their parts are 100% Canadian made.

That quality can be questionable. Depends whether or not they were making the parts during a playoff game

All the parts are made on a day shift, there is no way we would not be watching a playoff game at night!!!

Seriously though, the short shifter adapter for the Civic was released two years ago, all three test cars we had still have theirs on and they are in perfect condition!

I just installed my SS adapter, base bushings, cable bushings and M1 Abrams shift knob yesterday. I love it. It does feel a little notchy but it also feels very direct on every shift. There's no smooshiness like there was before with the stock rubber bushings. The shifter obviously has less throw and it feels awesome. I recommend this as a first mod for anyone. Disassembly, installation, and reassembly of all components took less than an hour and a half. Just follow the instructions that are provided.

What did you drop? If it was something metal a telescopic magnet works great to retreive lost parts.
