+1. What shifter did you get?

I had a Type-R, went to the Ball Knob, and went right back to the Type R.

Thanks for your order, you'll receive a UPS tracking number at the end of the business day today since the weekend's orders are going out today.

Installed my shifter last night, literally took me 5 minutes, easiest STS I've ever installed. Shifter doesn't have a notchy feel like my old B&M. I'm installing the bushings today so I'm interested to see if I'll notice any difference.

does this also work for non-si civic 06 ? (same DIY?) because it looks different once the knob is off than the one on pics,,,,.... and also does that mean that you can install a custom knob now, since on the non-si civic you have a plastic thing that doesnt allow you to do this.......if someone can help me on both questions thanks

Wrong. TWM is the way to go. Plus you get a discount on one of their super sweet shift knobs when you buy the SS and bushings.

Woohoo....finally installed the TWM SS and bushings.....install wasnt too bad. Hell...I did awesome until I dropped the third metal bushing and had to remove the center console. Seriously....just take it off. Oh yeah, and to remove the blue cap, it's so much easier to use the 14mm not the 13mm, comes off easier. Anyways..pretty stoked about doing a little tomorrow

^ I believe it works, theres at least one member on here with it installed on his EX sedan. As for the shifter boot, you would either need to modify the stock one to remove the plastic clip ring or get a replacement boot.

TWM actually states that their SS will fit other cars, so you're fine on that front. As far as that trim ring, take it off, then aftermarket I believe is the solution. Go to AugerResources for that. :)

Thanks for the props!

By the way guys, we've decided to extend the intro sale into November so the short shifter is still only $69 and the base bushings can be added for only $19.99 more.

Hello All,

I just installed one of these and it's fantastic. I love it. There isn't any more effort required to shift, just a nice short throw.

One suggestion that will keep you from distorting the edges of the plastic cap and help it pop off quick and easy.

I used the removal tool supplied by TWM (the c-shaped piece of metal) and positioned it behind the blue cap. I then used the 13mm wrench to pry against that piece of metal pushing on it and the blue cap. The cap popped right off easy, and I didn't mark or distort the edges of the blue cap at all.

Very nice kit, easy install, and great results. Well worth the money.

Best Regards,
Chris

A question for Larryd Its a little off subject but what pedals do you have. I noticed them on the DIY pics. I have only found a few sets with the long gas pedal, but those look pretty nice.
