Once a month, we should be allowed to punch someone who really deserves it without fear of a lawsuit or arrest.

That's how it starts. First it's one, then just one more, then another. Pretty soon I've beaten the crap out of the entire SF Giants team.

1) Marijuana should be legalized, taxed, and driving under the unfluence of marijuana should be an instant felony with only jailtime being a possibility.. No probation here.

2) There should be no legal drinking limit for driving. If you've had a 12 pack or a sip, you're dwi and should go to jail for an instant felony. Too many ignorant people don't take DWI's seriously and too many innocent people have to die because of it.

3) Our licensing process needs to be changed, and cars need to be categorized. If you want to buy a sportscar (250+ chp) you should have to take a seperate driving course in how to drive it and get a license that corresponds with your ability to drive. Same thing goes with people that want to buy SUV's, they should learn the safety (or lack thereof) that they are in control of and not be allowed to drive them until they can prove that they won't drive like douches.

4) Child molestation shouldn't have a possibility of probation. Nothing sickens me more than seeing some kid that smoked a little weed get sentenced to 2 years in jail as a result of zero tolerance, and yet child rapists get to walk out of the courtroom with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. There's no defending this at all, it's ridiculous that our courts work this way and it needs to change now.

If you're heartless enough to hurt an animal, you probably abuse other things too.

Also, I'm going to remove all of the posts in this little "marijuana/impaired driving" argument. This thread isn't only about what you personally believe to be true, so don't try to hijack it with that. We have a private messaging system for that, please feel free to use it.

Just for Michigan:

Every resident (legal) with a driver's license and at least one registered vehicle in their name would receive $1500 from the state, annually. Crazy? yes

Why the law?

Welcome to Michigan! THE LAND OF POTHOLES!

Hit a huge one, bent rims

Sweet, I hit 666. Time to wreck havoc on mankind

Nah. I like the 12 people a year rule. There are too many people that I would like to just pop in the face. 1 alone wouldn't do it for me. Plus, I'd feel a hell of a lot less guilty hitting them once, really well rather than beating the sheisse out of someone.

To Ringpop.

After I read the rest of the thread I realized many were just joking. I just happened to skim the thread and yours caught my attention, I didn't mean to single you out when the majority before you mentioned the same thing.

I just figured this thread was actually serious. My bad dude.

So if at 20 I decide to start a family I would have to wait until I am 37?

Ahhh uhmmm, I'm Canadian. That work for you. Or since you said US only you passed judgement and made it law. Don't put in jail for something I believe in and you don't. Life was supposed to be simple. 10 laws. We are doomed. Ruled more than Cuba. Whats that make us. We need to treat one another as equals. That would take care of so many problems. christ, see whats happening to monks lately. what is wrong with us. i'm not even religious but i'm sure that fellow with the tablet was onto something- 10 laws.

oh shit, so this isn't a serious post. then i want to see a law passed that will do away with all brands of ketchup except Heinz, cause there aint any other kienz.

I don't think we need laws about keeping sabbath days holy or honoring parents. I personally like cursing all weekend long and think my dad is a cock.

The reason we need a more robust set of laws is because people often aren't nice to each other. Anarchy (or socialism on the other side) are great ideas for fairy tales, but they don't hold water in modern society where children are brought up to believe that getting ahead of others is what matters most.

I would like to see a set of laws instituted that follow the harm principle, allowing us to do pretty much whatever we want as long as we're not hurting others.

I know I know. I know what your getting at. Like I said I'm not religious. I curse too, just habit, doesn't make one bad, and my dad is a dick also. But how did things ever get to this. People who do the crap, we don't like. And for good reason we punish them. But how did that person come to who they are. What made them act different to you or I. If we were raised in their surroundings from the past generations of their kins surroundings, would we be able to reason differently? I don't know shit. But I try to keep up on the news and theres some terrible stuff happening in our world. And your right, we should be able to do what we want. For many people thats outa the quelm of reality. Why because they may not be as connected, or have been judged or born with a medical condition or able to obtain the finances to make them as you say "get ahead of others" or or or alot of different scenerios.

And hey, this is supposed to be a non-serious post. So my next law is for you and me to switch houses on a 6 month interval. I hate the friggin winter. I hope your in Cali or FL. So I'll be coming down this november to become you. LOL

Thats why you never pass it to the driver.

And if you can't drive on weed then your a pansy... Be a real man and hit some 20x Salvia with some chronic or NL while driving. Then tell me how hard it is to drive.

Regardless, that statistic is misleading. It is supposed to say DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE DEATHS, (such as dying from alcohol poisoning for alcohol or lung cancer for tobacco) not related... so much miseducation about marijuana everywhere... ugh... I even started a topic about it and it got deleted... so oh well, let's just keep everyone misinformed! weed is addicting and horrible for your health and will cause you to ruin your life no matter what!

oh but wait! weed is harmless i heard! not a single consequence!

:rolls eyes:

English as the official language of the USA. I hate having to press 1 to continue in English, and I hate it that kids who speak no English slow down the whole class in public schools.

I'm not bashing other languages or nationalities, but if you're going to live here, assimilate.
