i agree...it has can have negative health effects...but i think his point is that so can tobacco and alcohol, both of which are legal and are arguably much more harmful than marijuana.

Glenn Beck's (relatively) new book has an entire chapter devoted to that idea and I personally love it.

Alcohol-related deaths per year: 100,000 (approx.)
Marijuana-related deaths: 0! and not just per year, but EVER!
That may be the most ignorant thing I have ever read. I actually knew someone that got into a car accident, and died, as a result of being stoned.

1. Every natural-born citizen is issued a firearm at the age of 16 after mandatory training in high school. Anyone convicted of a felony or diagnosed with mental illness is removed from this program permanently.

2. Lower drinking age to 16 nationally.

3. Raise driving age to 18 nationally.

4. Canabis is legalized, regulated and taxed in a manner similar to alcohol. Driving under the influence would be the same as alcohol impairment.

5. Fat people don't get wellfare.

6. State and national level election days will be federal holidays.

The problem with the forced sterilization until certification plan is that there aren't many ways to temporarily sterilize someone. A vasectomy is reversible ideally, but not always. You would have to come up with a way to do it that is zero maintenance and easily reversible.

Also, this would only really affect natural-born citizens and legal immigrants. People coming into the country illegally would outbreed us like crazy!

On the marajuana figure I would have to say that is unproven. Perhaps from an ovedose but other actions surrounding the use would show in the least a slight disparity, much the same as the amount of deaths caused during tobacco use would be much less than those associated with its use.

I'm all for legalising + taxing cannabis (and all drugs for that matter). As a taboo, people are less aware of what its' effects on a daily basis are. But let's face it, America will never go back on something it began (the WAR on drugs).

I'm a firm believer that America should stop wasting resources and taxpayers money on having such a f*&kin ridiculous amount of police cruisers constantly patrolling streets and pulling people over for minor traffic 'infractions' and instead put funding into sterilizing the obese, donating money to the slowly floundering American car industry in the hopes of producing a car that can take a corner or even perhaps.... Government Healthcare

Here's a law I would like: A marriage license must be renewed every 4 years. Unless both the husband and wife sign to renew it, the marriage is dissolved, and goes directly into divorce settlement.

I have always personally entertained the idea of arming every single car with explosives. That way, on the highway, there's a definite feeling of able drivers.

The basis is that there's four buttons in the car, one for front, rear, and sides. If you signal, and the other driver does not either make way or knowingly gets in your way, you can press the button, and the car explodes. Of course, this is not a well thought out plan, especially for those psychos and ragers and ass-holes. But, this can be easily trounced by only making the transmission explode. Then the person who pressed the button is the one that gets billed.

...Then again, there's always Clarkson's method of sniping posts for those who go under speed limits...

Abortion should also be legalized. But only after both Fathers on both sides say, "You two just f*cked up". Literally.

Being the conservative bastard that I am, I'd love a reform of government aid programs. Stricter circumstances for receiving aid. Not just getting money for getting pregnant or w/e.

Harsher penalties against people who waste court time. Make a deterrent for suing - this country has become sue-happy and something needs to be done about that.

I'd also like some laws implemented for people who do pointless hate-crimes. As it is now, if you got caught keying someone's car or dumping a bucket of paint on it or w/e, the worst that would happen is a few thousand dollar fine and having to fix it. However, I think if, for example, you caught some idiot taking a screw-driver to your car because it was a Honda, Ford, GM, etc etc, something bad needs to happen. By bad, I mean like 3-4 months in jail. Sounds ridiculous, but I think it's ridiculous that people do these things for absolutely no reason. Seems to me like you'd cut down on a large amount of these pointless crimes if there were serious implications if you got caught.

Oh also.. I'd like some kind of law enforcing city's to fix these ******* stop lights! On my way to school, I have to go through this one section of town where there is a light every single block. In the end, I prolly go through 10-15 of them. In this one stretch that has probably 8 of them, you miss EVERY light. By the time the light turns green, you start going and make it to the next one, it's turning yellow. Such a waste of gas, time and flow of traffic.

IT cracks me up when I'm in Jersey and the speedlimit is still 55, 15 years after everyone started raising their speedlimits. I do think the AC expressway is at least 60. I'm not sure. I was usually that PA plated car on it on a Friday when all the blue hairs in their Caddy's were headed to the Tropicana. lol. Hell, most of the people in the state are doing well over that anyway.
