Cool 16inch RSX rims on Hybrid?

Anyone out there has the 02-04 RSX wheels on their hybrid?
I'm looking to buy a set due to the lightweight and wanted to see if there was any fitment/offset issues. I just picked up a hybrid and it has some 16inch with 225/50R16 and it's rubbing when I hit a bump. the Rims are not my style and I wanted to replace them.
I heard the old RSX 16inch rims weigh about 16 pounds so they would be ideal for me.
Please let me know if you know they would work or not. thanks.

the hybrid is designed the way it is to get the best possible gas mileage. from what i understand, if you change things on the car you lose mpg even though rsx-s wheels would look nice on the car

I think he's saying that his hybrid came with non OEM wheels and he's looking for a replacement. If that's the case find some really light aftermarket wheels and tires if most of your driving is at low speeds and go with the OEM (good aerodynamics) if most of your driving is at higher speeds, otherwise why have the hybrid? Might as well have a MT Civic EX since you can get similar numbers on the highway.

The RSX wheels will fit just fine.

Thanks CameronJr9, my hybrid came with non-standard rims and tires, I weighed them in on my digital scale at 45lb. and that's why I'm looking for some lighter ones. I'd rather stick with honda rims so the RSX looked attractive and I can pick up a used set for $200-$250.
I was told they weigh about 16lb which is pretty close to the 15 inch stock hybrid rims. and I'll go with the 205/55R16 instead of the stock 195/60R15. I'm ok with 2-3 mpg if I can gain alittle on the performance. My daily commute is 60 miles and so far the best I can do is is 38.9mpg average. the car feels like it wants to stall during launch and I think it's due to the 45lb tire(x2). my plan was to get the 16lb rsx rims with Yokohama V4s(22lb) so total would be 38lb.
I have the v4s on my bmw 323i and they're great(my average mileage on this is 28.5mpg - not bad for a 6cyclinder.

thanks,

I have the 16" RSX-s on my LX. They weigh 16. I have Michelin Pilot exalto A/S and they weight 39lbs mounted on the rims.

but the hybrid rims were designed to be that way to gain the most possible mileage (aerodynamic), changing it would decrease it not matter what the weight difference is.
