Are the Bridgestone Potenza G009 being discontinued?

Are the Bridgestone Potenza G009 being discontinued? I'm in tire rack and i see it says CLOSE OUT. Is that was close out means?

whew! its been awhile, but my password got erased and I couldn't get back on! Yes, the G009 model is being discontinued and replaced with the G019 model. The G019 is utilizing a better tread design, much like the 960 does...good stuff! It also has the same wear characteristics of the previous which is also good!
