and another question. what about these guys, they designed a sticker, but i dont know if they got permission or anything.

im not tattle-telling, i just want to know how they did it, and i want to do it right.

Well i read most of the thread you linked. They had a good thing going for a while. I really liked the idea of member #'s on the sticker too. That way if someone saw someone on the highway, they could look em up and PM them later,

or are we just going to stand around and look at each other for a while?

You got the beach....used some imagination... I might take a cruise on the ferry and drop over the Moody Garden afterward...etc. The State Meet is the same, but without the beach, second NO FREE foods.

Yeah that is the way most meets go. The really fun ones are when someone needs help installing something. When you have to get down and dirty and try a mod its always fun. Ive been to plenty meets and I will say that the first ones are always feelers. Just to get to know your fellow 8th'ers and see what everyone is packing. Mainly i think meets are for installing stuff and to get new ideas.

dang, if I knew about this earlier, then I could've scheduled off, hopefully it rains so I can make it on the 1st :) but if not, then I'll have to wait another year

So to get back on topic, is everyone still planning to go tomorrow. Who exactly is going to take pics and vids? If i can i'll see if i can bring my portable gazebo for extra shade! I guess we can get someone to bring extra chairs also?
