if this meet is in the city of houston someone send me a PM please. I'd suggest a park meet if its gonna have a lot of people. Bear Creek park always does well and you can reserve a covered area to bbq, eat, whatever. cops leave you alone as long as you don't have alcohol, and are parked legally.

Ok how about Memorial Park people?

It's hard to pick a single location since not everyone is located in the heart of Houston. Someone, somewhere is going to bitch about gas prices. I'm going to ask a mod to add a poll to this with Bear Creek / Galveston and Memorial Park as options. whatever's chosen by next weekend will be the meeting place NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I'm trying to help Civic4u get this together but I'm tired of the whining.


As for what to bring, copy the list, by your name, put what you want to bring. If it's going to be ice, be sure to get it when you get closer to the location. If you guys wanna do a barbeque, we're going to need someone with a truck to haul a pit. No matter what location we go to, the pit on site is going to be small.

ok, i'd really rather go out of the houston area, but thats just me. i dont care about gas prices and ill go anywhere, so everyone just make up your mind.

id rather go to the beach simply because some of us have g/fs, b/fs, and would like to spend the rest of the day out at the beach...*hint hint* my g/f likes to shop at the seawall...but i can tell her to shut up if we poll a different place...

but ill bring utinsils, napkins, cups and paper plates etc...
