any thoughts?
I think you will be sorely disappointed if you expect EVERYBODY to show up... we would need to RSVP, but I would figure at BEST maybe 75% of those that say they MAY go will go... that is of course... speaking from p[ast experience in a Subaru club that does state meets...

College Station is NOT centrally located... on a map it looks like it would be, but drive time "wise" it would be a long haul for people from DFW and other parts like Laredo/El Paso (atruhondagirl).... Austin would be more central... nad there are lots of places to go and do...

i agree because sometimes people say something and then the unexpected could happen people might not show, or be able to show. i will definitely be there no matter what, SIR.

we should maybe start a definite head count. i am for sure no matter the distance. very much excited

I don't live in Texas but know some people who will travel down there... I would say Austin because it's like some were near the middle... I have been to Lake Travis and I like that spot... Can fit a lot of people in some parking areas...

Austin is pretty much where it HAS to be. Waco, CS or anywhere else is not central at all. ClubRSX always has meets out there. Dave & Busters is a great idea and if we can be sure that more than 75 people are showing up than it would be smart to rent out their meeting room. they have all kind of packages for that.

ps I'm down unless its the same week as HIN Orlando in which case I wont be able to make it.

Sounds like a plan! We still need to set a date and place, but once that's settled we need to set a place for a DFW meet so we can cruise down there together.

I think that it should be a weekend meet,

Austin 9333 Research Blvd. Suite A600 Austin , TX 78759

Dave & Buster’s – Eat, Drink, Play – Locations

Directions from Dave and Busters to Lake Travis it is about 57 mins per Google
9333 Research Blvd. Suite A600 Austin , TX 78759 - Google Maps
The map is dumb, just put Lake Travis in the directions portion and it will show the trip giving people to understand the distance!

What do you guys think about this?

That would be a great drive, but Austin Scouts! where can 100+ park at lake travis?

what does everybody think about that idea? i dont want to be anything with the responsibility when it comes to this meet

i just want to put ideas out because this thing is a go, just when and where is the question. Austin seems to be that answer now a day and event
