another thing to consider about driving to padre or where ever is the hotel fund?

Right now I know that the hotel fares at the island are pretty low right know being after spring break and all. It also doesn't hurt that schliterbaun has just opened for summer.

I have gone camping before down in port a, it was like $15 for the beach permit to park your car. I would say though that a hotel would be much better even if it seems pretty high, because you will get very tired of all the sand everywhere and if you get sunburned before you leave...its a nightmare you can never get away from the sun and the heat
edit: and plus I wouldn't want to take my car out onto the beach that sand will mess with your car.

Oh yeah I don't even want to think about trying to get the sand out of this car. The Jeep was easy cause I just washed it out. Maybe I should Rhino line the inside of the Si like I did the Jeep.

Austin here.. I dont know about the sand, but want to get a meet going in the near futur. I know there is one coming up in july but no for sure details yet but every one is talking about D&B. there is a thread about it. there are also state meets that clubrsx and 8thgen do. I know a few other guys around the area that arent on the boards but would like to hit some of these meets up..
