Anyone in the DFW area have yellow foglights?

Hey whats up guys? Im just posting this message on here to see if theres anyone out there in the dallas or fort worth area that have the yellow fog lights installed on their car. I really want a mod on my car and was thinking about getting the yellow foglights.... But i really dont want to pay alot for them since i payed 500 for the clear foglights when i purchased the car... TOO DAMN MUCH.... And I just noticed that the one on the passanger side has a small hole where im guessing a rock did it. I have a black 06 si and was thinking that yellow foglights would look super kool...

Also im looking for some kool yellow bulbs to replace with the daytime driving lights... Anyone know of a place and bulb where i can buy them at?

Thanks..

you can go to k2motors.com and get a set of yellow fogs for half the price i believe.
If you already have fogs you can get Bat's overlay vinyl. Honduhh, she has those vinyls i think it looks great on her car. or you can go on ebay =]

yeah i put my yellow fogs on a couple of weeks ago, let me know if you need help or whatever else....good luck on the search, but like i've been recommending, robearracing.com had awesome customer service, and i only paid $80 for everything the parts they sent me were as plug and play as foglights can be, and the hardest part of the whole install was getting the fogs mounted onto my bumper

and also, after reading the thread more carefully, I wouldnt' suggest just putting on an overlay if there's a hole in one of your lenses,

how long did the install take? i'm not very savvy with wires so how hard would you say the install is?

i had never even touched wiring before my install, so that being said, maybe a couple hours, there was ONE wire that gave me a hard time, but other than that it's really quite easy, the only thign i needed to "outsource" was cutting the holes themselves

**edit**
if you want help, feel free to ask, now that i've done it already it should be a breeze

Hey PFCCarvajal, Im actually thinking about getting my foglights next week sometime thursday... Maybe if you have free time, will you be willing to help me out installing them? I would really appreciate you. Hit me up on yahoo at txlatin18@yahoo.com

By the way: are most foglights now gonna require an extra switch inside the car for the lights?... I have the stock button that the dealership put in when i purchased them...

You should be able to use the stock button. You will need to figure out which is positive and negative on the OEM switch though. Other than that it should work.

Working on just the fog lamps alone is easy. I myself wouldn't want to do a full kit install just because its too much trouble.

Also, to the OP, I wouldn't recommend getting Yellow DRLs (which are your highbeam bulbs) you may piss someone off or get a ticket. It IS afterall illegal to have yellow headlights (I'm not 100% sure about yellow fogs, I think they are legal as fog lights are meant to improve bad visibility, and yellow is easier to see than white (to an extent))

yeah man if you want some help shoot me a PM and i'll be glad to help as much as i can...if you already have the factory units, it'll be a breeze, you shouldn't need to change anythign but the harness connecting the lights from the bumper to the plug right behind the washer fluid reservoir, you won't need the switch, did you get the stalk off the steering wheel that has the fogs on it, or is it the pushbutton style switch similar to the VSA switch, either way, it won't be a problem at all if you already have stockers
