No harm done... I have a personal issue with street racers... one of them cost my insurance ~$30K in a claim involving my 99 Prelude...

So when people go talking about street racing like it is perfectly normal and safe... I sort of get a little bent out of shape... I think TX should be more like CA... get caught... lose your car.

Honestly, i think if certain ppl weren't so...dumb, then all that crap wouldn't happen...for example...at the 360 and pioneer meet...

stupid jelly beans with ricers race right next to the meet off the service road...causing traffic, excessive noise, etc.

stupid jelly beans with ricers doing *** ass burn outs or speeding right in the parking lot causing the cops to show up...should i just give them my motherf-ing phone so that they can just call the cops?!

stupid jelly beans racing idiotically...by that i mean, when you f-ing race someone...why the hell do you keep going when you're getting closer and closer to the car in front of you, or even when there are a lot of cars.

stupid jelly beans...damnit, i'm getting over my head...I think/hope that everyone gets the point.

I dunno, after that ticket...thanks to those F-faces who basically call out the cops with their loud ass exhaust and tires, it's hard to say whether I'll be convinced to go out there again...F-ing GP cops man, hate em..

By dumb, do you mean the "stupid jelly beans" that street race period?

The last person I told this to, totalled his car. There is no such thing as SAFE when it comes to street racing. There are TOO MANY variables that are not CONTROLLED on the street. Can you wreck out at the drag strip? Yes. But there are people there to rescue your ass instead of every body involved just taking off and leaving you to fend for yourself.

I say this as much for YOUR sake as any one elses on the road... you are not safe. Your little jack off friend next to you will BAIL ON YOU if something bad happens. Your little jack off friends watching WILL NOT SAVE YOU if something bad happens. It is too cheap to race at actual tracks (like Kennedale and Ennis) to be doing this stuff on the street. Not only is it cheap, but you will have actual TIME SLIPS to prove what you are capable of instead of just having stories of that 1988 Civic HF that you beat (with all of its 70HP)...

I know you think it is safe... I know you think you will not wreck... I know you think you will be fine. The data does not support you. You are wrong.

street race = big no no!
yeah....lost a friend to a street race...
not fun and games anymore, when it comes to saving a life...
too many people out there have too much pride and are stubborn to even listen to others experiences..

I do agree with what you say...cept I never said it was safe...I never said i'll be fine, and I never said the data supports me....therefore I am RIGHT, LOL

Look at chrisfrofro's comment and you'll know what 'YMCA' picture i'm talking about..
