Who's going to SCCA Solo2 Autocross on March 16th at Penington Field? (DFW)

Texas Region SCCA Solo2 Autocross

Tentative meet locaton: The Parks Mall (3821 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX) If anyone has any better ideas on a meeting spot please feel free to share!

Anyone in the DFW wanna meet up and cruise out there? We should probably meet up around Arlington around 6:30AM since it's right in the middle of DFW.

Regstration starts at 7:30am and goes through 8:30am so that should give us plenty of time to get there. Anyone that plans on going simply needs to bring 40$ in cash and whatever you feel you need to last a day outside.

Whoever can to empty out their car beforehand should, but you should be alright cleaning out your car at Penngton Field if you have someone to watch over your belongings.

C'mon guys! This is a great way to be able to legally drive our cars fast and learn more about how our cars handle at the limit.

Once we get more people coming we can settle on a place to meet up. Right now I'm thinking "The Parks Mall" in Arlington, Texas mostly because it's a big landmark. It should be about a 30 minute drive from there.

I'm surprised Casey hasn't been all over this already, seeing how A) He's the local autocross man and B) its right around the bend from his house.

Someone should tell him about this! This'll be my first time autocrossing, so he'd probably be a bit better at organizing things and informing people than me.

I don't usually participate in SCCA events... S2Ki had their first race last weekend that I missed... I will actually be in Plainview this coming weekend getting some authentic lessons in real Mexican (not Tex-mex) cooking... so I will deifinitely miss it.

You should come out next month and give us a sample of what you've learned! Are you coming tukai? I'll be driving my standard R18.

You should be fine taking your LX out there. Our competition isn't as bad because we only have to deal with the base coopers when the Si's have to deal with Cooper S.

If I'm not mistaken, honda93(he drives a LX) is one of the few nationally competitive 8th gens.

Does anyone still want to meet up? Please get back to me by tonight if you do. If I don't get anyone then I'm just driving straight to Pennington Field.
