I know the San Antonio folks are trying to put something together out there. I think it'd be nice to get a head count of whos where and how many of us there are. Then we'll be able to break things down region by region and maybe come up with a biannual state thing in a fair location. Sound good to you guys?

My wife and I find ourself this far north only because rent south of IH20 was $$$ for a decent place it started at $800/month for what we wanted... we are paying $700 (with two cats) for more than we expect in an apartment... I want to move back down south in the future... :)

And FYI... Laredo is the end of the world... just like El Paso, Texarkana, Beaumont or Dumas are...

I retract Dumas being the end of the world.... Dalhart is the city I was thinking of... last place you go through on the way out of Texas... :)

If you turn towards NM, Texline is the last one. I've been there too. I40 in Amarillo> Dumas> Dalhart> Texline> to NM> Raton Pass into CO. I've been to a good portion of the middle of no where towns this country has to offer. All in the name of moving somewhere else.
