It's been 12 years. If I remember correctly, Texline is the size of a period on this page. It's about 20 miles from Clayton, NM. The only other town I saw along that route that was that * was Gooding or Grande (something with a G), NM. It consisted of a handful of houses, one ancient 2 pump gas station (that was closed) a lot of snow at the time and scores of Elk.

Ive been to Dalhart before. Went for the "Worlds largest free BBQ"... well, not really for that. My GF at the time had friends there, but it just happened to be that weekend.
