It's okay. Man, I've been updating like crazy lately. Weeks of a lull then all of the sudden, TEXAS arrives on the board. It's cool.

I wondered what was up with your total lack of AT awareness. Lol.

I know. I'm guessing your a marine? The DoN won't allow 2 seconds to breath without shoving AT awareness down out throats and that stupid website never changes.

it's the same thign with crew.....it'd get too clicky, and people like myself that haven't been in the scene for a long time would get unfortunately left out, or at least miss out on some of the inside thigns you more established members have going for you.....i would love to see a statewide meet type thing this summer though, kinda make it like a weekend thing somewhere central...waco or temple seems to be pretty evenly rounded, although i know for you el paso people, nothing really is

It's never too late to join the party. The Texas crew isn't as cliquey as say the Northeast crew or the SoCal guys. The Northeast crew does so much together and are willing to drive great distances for their meets which they have very often. I've noticed that the Texas group isn't like that.

There are a few guys in San Antonio that seem to meet up to work on eachothers cars and such but meets like we had in Jersey and New York, there's nothing like that here. Our meets back east were big enough and there was a good enough camaraderie that the NE crew and the Mid Atlantic crew would have regular get togethers. We had members from each respective group who would drive 5 hours just to go to a joint meet.

I don't think we'll ever see that here. Partially because the state is so damned massive but also because the common glue that holds those groups together just doesn't seem to be present here. It's a shame really. Those other groups took the initiative to meet up and get to know each other beyond the internet and forged some great friendships in the meantime. There's a lot of people on this site in Texas, specially in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. I don't know what the Houston and Dallas folks have going on but I know that this meet in April seems to be, really, the first solid get together for this area. Hopefully folks will get to meet each other and hit it off.

My point being, fijisan, is that it's not too late. Hell even most of the members of this state haven't really had a chance to get involved in much or so it seems.
