Not meaning to change the subject... but I'm new to the forums. Since this is the Austin chat thread, does anyone know of a reliable shop to take an SI sedan to for mods in Austin? I haven't decided on anything for sure yet but I don't wanna buy a part and then realize I can't install it successfully alone..

i've asked this same question before and didn't get anyone who endorsed any austin shops. a couple that i've heard are pretty good are:

Maximum Velocity Home Page (san antonio)

and

Henderson Performance Technologies (new braunfels)

i'm actually semi-grounded, since after i left you guys, i continued to rip it up to the tune of 3:30 am! my girl was none too pleased... i'm officially on damage control.

Thanks for the response, I did quite a bit of searching around and also didn't come up with much in the way of Austin shops. At least new braunfels/SA aren't too far away for a potential weekend trip!

well the next meet for k-seriouse is on march 1st .. there is a thread about it in the texas threads. Im not sure when the next SI meet will be have to get people talking about it and get some kind of game plan in advance to get one of these going.

there are a few that go on on saturday and a few during the week. most the time everyone stands around and talks about there rides and also catches up with freinds and others go do some quick runs. if you want to know morw about where they are hit me up...
