bummer bro.. premature failure of a gear that should last over 100,000's of miles seems like it should be warranty work to me.. raise hell and call honda of America

keep pushing them to research the problems with the second gear. Mine was fixed at mccall Honda, have them call over there to verify issues. Remember once its fixed to watch who all drives your car too. I am sure the second gear was faulty like everyone elses, but damn it sounds like a bit of personal damage too. Not u imparticular, but it sounds like someone forced it into second gear really hard, and more than once. Good luck bro.

I will have to look, but it should show in the computer. My file cabinet is really hard to get to, but let me see what I can do.

Heard you honk on the way to get my alignment done travis!

Well finally got my wheels replaced and alignment done.

Im no pro with suspensions so can someone look at this and tell me if im ok, or should I be looking into aftermarket struts (will most likely go ahead and lower springs+chamber) if the struts need to be replaced.

The car is my DD and I just want to make sure its ok to drive....about 120 miles daily.

Attached is the alignment data sheet.

specs don't look too bad, but they could have done a tad better to
get it within range. I only go to one place for my alignments because they spend the time and go the extra mile to make it right. If u are wondering more on those specs, take them by the Honda service department and ask them if it is acceptable for warranty and prevention of repairs.

I looked today in my file cabinet and I had already thrown away all my service documents being since I didnt need them. Sorry bro. I thought I still had some in their, but they are all gone. Are you going to get it fixed even though your selling it?

Your beimer sounds just like mine (my wifes) except mine (hers) is silver. I love the look of the sport suspension but it doesnt ride as nice as the premium suspension. I also have the premium setup too, which is sweet. Thing is pretty fast. Hope you got the maintenance plan.... I think we are going to trade it in on another one in about three years.

The gas prices are around $4 for 93 octane and around $3.75 for 89 octane pretty much everywhere. Thats on average of course, give or take $.5-$.10. I am fixing to buy a diesel 4X4 (once I payoff the difference on the Si that the insurance wouldnt cover), so my price now goes up to around $4.65. Looks like I may have to pick up a part time job just to cover the fuel costs....damn oil tycoons.

I guess I will feel better though being back into a vehicle that I can take pretty much anywhere. I do still miss the civic though. I see an Si everytime I leave the house it seems like. Only thing keeping me half sane is definitely the beimer. I love that thing.

Sup Ray, seen that you were around the house for about a week. Ride looks good. That thing would be set off with a drop on it. That color with those HFP wheels really does look nice. Dont know about that TT sticker on the back though....lol. Hey you still talk with Blake? I need someone to test out my Pioneer AVIC N3 once I get the new cables in, to make sure it works correctly. My father in law pulled my head unit and brain out, but wasnt able to get the wiring. At least I still have the bulk of it. Anyway, if it happens to be damaged, do you think my extended warranty would cover it, or should I play stupid and be like, well it worked in my other car before I sold it....
