I didnt say they weren't. I said I dont want myself or my wife in a small car and that bmw's show to be one of the safest cars out there. The car also isn't as small as a civic. U can't say that a civic will uphold the same as a full size vehicle in a comparison crash test. Either way, not going back to a small compact car unless I have no other choice, which I do have a choice right now.

I agree with Javy, German engineering and saftey FTW. I also would choose the BMW over the Si too..

I will say this much after owning a 2004 530i, BMWs are very reliable but boring cars. Traded it in for an 07 Infiniti M35 and its like night and day. The BMW just had no thrill factor in the driving. IDK just my opinion

cant really say on the driving part, but its for the wife anyway. I want my truck back. I had a blast with my truck. I never had to worry about curbs or muddy medians or anything for that matter. Off roading is pretty fun too. I did have a lot of fun in my si. Out of all the vehicles i have had, it definitely was at the top of the fun category. Plus my dogs love riding in a truck over the backseat of a car.

So how was that meet at spring high?

There were a few nice looking cars that did not enter the show. I saw GTI's and SRT-4 and of course the Si coupe.

I went to a CB meet a while back and those were really good.

Damn i can't believe i missed the Goodson Honda West meet!!! I have been working my aZZ off for days and hadn't checked to see if there was gonna be a meet. You guys wanna do another one sometime this week?

hahahah the goodson honda west meet wasn't really a meet.. it was just a couple of us who had Si's with problems with our 3rd gear pop out/ grind. me and another member got our parts ordered and they're fixing it under the technical service bulletin.

Hello everyone...I spoke to someone (can't remember his name) at the service department at Goodson West on Friday about those annoying metallic rattles. He told me it'll take 2-3 days to fix and that they have no loaner cars (I find that hard to believe)

I hope some of you guys are planning to meet there soon because I really want to get that annoying rattle off of my car.

I hope they dont tell trystar and myself that when we go back to get our 3rd gear fixed.

I've had work done there before and they loaned me a civic for a day free of charge.

at first, i asked bill how long it would take for them to fix the car and he said 2-3 days. i then asked him if i would be provided with a loaner or not and he said no... and i was like, wait a minute, you know there's something wrong with my car and this is basically still under warranty work? that's when he gave me that hesitant look that was like... oh crap, he's right. then, he told me he would hook me up with a loaner through their enterprise office that they have there and i wouldn't have to pay for it because he would goodwill it and get me taken care of. it's pretty much all about communication and how you come off, just be polite and nice and they'll return the favor.
