So I'm definitely going to get my valve cover powder coated at some point. Not really any time super soon but sitting here and was curious. Whoever has theirs done, did you just take yours off and have it coated (is it quick turnaround) or did you need a temp cover?

Also, asdf! If your down I might need to come by and see if you can help me replace my trans fluid lol!

I'm getting the hfp lip kit, fog kit w/ 3000k HID, and hyper yellow nokya for the lows once i get my tax $$$. I'm pretty excited.

Nice! Im trying to get a front lip. I want the whole kit but the side skirt prices are crazy. Speaking of which, how hard is putting the front lip on an 09? I can get it from Majestic Honda for $270, and got a quote today from a dealer that it may be like $100 or so if I got them to install. The price is to high for me, but not sure if I can do it myself.

i tried ordering my lip from Majestic a few years ago because it was the cheapest, but they wouldn't ship it to me since its oversized. i ended buying mine from McDavid in Irving and installed it myself. its not hard at all, with the bumper off it took maybe 30 min.

How much was it from McDavid? I feel like I remember seeing someone post a picture of the 09 front lip before and it had some tabs that go into the bumper itself. If I am remembering correctly one guy said that it cut his off and used extra double sided tape.

Did yours come that way or is it like the 06-08 with just screws and tape?

i was considering getting it from here cause I also heard majestic doesnt ship. Collegehillshonda seems to be the place people are ok with getting it shipped but they're 395 w/ shipping and the link you see is 265 but idk about shipping.

I went to the honda dealership here in Denton to ask about price matching majestic and they said they couldn't. I'm going to try another dealership this weekend since I need to go pick up some transmission fluid and wipers anyways.

Okay I need some help.

I was driving home today on 35 and just cruising on the highway in 6th. Suddenly I get a bad smell (previously smelled fine) almost kind of fishy. I just dismiss it as a weird smell that you randomly pass. I get closer to home and still think no biggie. Then, I left a little later and the smell is still in my car. I have no idea what it is but I had to drive with my windows down. I'll check if its still there tomorrow but I am lost for what reasoning their could be. It was fine for 45 min of highway driving then fishy smell out of no where.

What can I check?
