DFW...not exactly a chat, looking for a shop.

New to import scene and have an 08 Civic SI and I'd like to find a reputable shop to to suspension work and later either a s/c or turbo.

Is there a list or a can you all send me your persal experience/recommendations.

Thanks

Jotech does some damn good labor but you pay the price. I mean big time.

in all honesty man, invest in a set of tools, a manual on your car, and do the work yourself, save TONSSSSSS of money (jotech wanted damn near half the cost of the header i bought for install), and it'll give you a stronger sense of satisfaction knowing your car performs that much differently because of YOUR hard work

Do as much as you feel comfortable w/ doing on your own. Unless it's a job I don't have the time/tools for then I will just call and have it done for me.

After that call around to get the best price. If they want your business they will match lower price quotes for jobs. It also has a good amount to do w/ how busy they are at the time.

Auto shops are like any other business. If they have a good amount of jobs/projects then they will have less time and prices will fluctuate from there. You will also get a bunch of b.s.'rs out there who will tell you things on the phone.

Check out club rsx as well. There are a few mechanics who posted there #'s to do jobs on the side at much lower rates than you will find at any shop for the most part.

Once you decide to get into the bigger investment of a Turbo or S/C then that would be the point where I would pay for the quality and peace of mind. Don't lowball on something big like that. But still don't just pay what jotech quotes you either w/o doing some research first.

I'll PM you some #'s.
