heak soak is not really the air its really the matter that the intake tube itself is getting hot i believe. as long as you dont push the car hard at all times you should be find. yes there are gains with the SRI but different SRI have different numbers. i too am deciding which SRI to go with, im torn between DIY x-intake and Fujita 5.

AEM or FUjita. . . id go Fujita
I choose those two because they come with dry filters, theyre much safer on the engine and your MAF than that stupid oiled crap, theyre still re-usable too, and even then its easier, go in rinse off in a bucket of soap and water, repeat, then in plain water to get the soap out, then dry, much better than having to wash off all the old oil and ugly crap, then drying, then oiling, being careful not to overspray in one spot, or anything like that |
