Texas heat and sun visors

I know a nch of you guys have had your driverside visor replaced due to it falling apart... I am currently at David McDavid Honda ni Irving (yea free internet!) gettin both side replaced under warranty. You may have never noticed your passenger side messing up, but next time you get into a HOT car... check it out... it will separate!!!

Just a heads up to war people before warranties run out and you have to mess with "good faith" bs...

Mine started doing that last year. Did they change the part or will a new one do the same thing?

1. Neither of my visors were actually BROKEN.
2. Both of them would pull apart when I rotated them to the "up" position (taking down my sun shade after work).
3. Honda replaced both visors under warranty with no questions. In fact, when I asked what I needed to do to get it replaced (appointment?) he showed me the work order for the Civic that pulled in before me and said... Nope... you just need one of these (the work order was for visor replacement).

It took them about an hour to replace both visors and do the ABS tone ring seal recall. The DMcD service department has always been top notch with my family and didn't let me down... they even cleaned off my car... :)

My wifes NHBP Si had both visors come apart within the first year. Had them replaced under warranty.

I've had my GG Si for about 18 months now and haven't had a problem, but I will check this afternoon! :)

well no experience at their Honda wing, but my old CL saw their Acura division a few times, and theyve always been real good and prefessional, but then again I guess its the whole Honda vs Acura standards thing, the team over at Huggins Honda is real good though, im definately happy with my service from them

I just know ill never buy a car at Vandergriff Honda since they over charge with all the extras, and I hope Vandergiff Toyota burns in hell for being a whole bunch of damn dousche bags

oh and Vandergriff Hyundai is the only place my brother will ever take his Tiburon

I was just in DMD on the 22nd to get my passenger side visor fixed. I've already had the drivers side fixed and I only have 5700 miles on my EX.

Fortunately I park in an indoor parking structure at work and in my garage at home so I rarely park in the open in the sun, lucky for me my visors have help up like brand new, and seeing as I have 5% tint on the brow I hardly ever use the visors anyway.
