Probably your best bet.

Jrotax, check out Lian Li's PC-V1000 & PC-V2000 line. They're legends when it comes to watercooling rigs. Solid aluminium build, inverted power supply bay and some badass looking side panels etc. If you check on eBay, 70% of the time there's a PC-V1000 being sold that's already been modded for watercooling, generally a good bet if you're looking to go down that road.

Either that or check out Silverstone. They make some incredible cases, can't remember off the top of my head if they have any cases with bottom mounted PSU's, but I love their designs all the same.

^ sorry about not knowing the answer to your question. I never actually watercooled anything before. What is the purpose of it to mainly overclock the GPU and CPU? How much did you overclock your to?

I know alot bout computers though

silverstone is pretty bad ass, and so is cooler master, but why are you going to watercool? unless it's really hot and/or you're overclocking your stuff like 3x what its factory speed is, then you shouldn't need to water cool, imo.

i <3 cooler master. i almost bought a bad ass silverstone a few months ago though. then i realized that pimping a PC really gets to the point of diminishing retursn very quickly and bought a $40 cooler master which is awesome.

besides these new intel chips will overclock like 30% on air easy. and most cheap WC systems (like less than $150) wont even perform as good as a simple yet good air cooler like a thermaltake big typhoon, nor are they as silent as something like a Zalman.

because i want to, and i like being unique.

e60, yes i know that the lower end water app's don't perform as well as the higher end air cooling systems, but its something i've always wanted to do.
If i do it, i normally do it correctly, as you can see from my car

True that Jro! If you plan on getting one of the Intel Quad core extreme editions watercooling is worth it, those things run pretty hot and with the unlocked multiplier you can really push some numbers with watercooling. IMHO if you're building a custom rig, the case is one thing worth investing in. Of all the components in a PC the case is the last thing that you will ever need to replace, mobos cpus gfx and ram can all be replaced, but a high quality case will last (until you get bored of the looks ).

google some of your processes, like, I think it's called processlibrary.com, if it isn't microsoft, and its not a system process, like if it's running under e&d and not system, then you can hit delete and terminate the process
Like, ipod service, you don't need that running
nor do you need ituneshelper (well not when ur ipod is plugged in)
I would suggest not only googling the processes, but download and run trendmicro's hijackthis. It scans all your system processes for anything out of the ordinary and is a good way to find some malicious software that your scans might have missed.

Also, if you would like windows to boot a little faster you can do this:

Start
Run
"CMD"
In the command line type in "msconfig"
Go to the startup tab

This is a list of all the processes that start with windows. Be careful when doing this and make sure that you know what you're removing. There are almost always things that you can "remove" from this list and every one will speed up your startup a little bit.

I would suggest getting something like this:

Newegg.com - Rosewill 7"-14.1" Black Notebook Cooling Pad Model RNA-3000 - Laptop Accessories

I'm not positive about that specific one, but most of them are usb powered and do pretty well at cooling. I'm not saying that i recommend this exact one, but poking around Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! and FRYS.com should give some better results.

I'll run it by the other mods, but I make no promises. We try to keep from going crazy with the stickies just to keep it from getting cluttered.

No matter how good of a pc you get, you're still going to have problems if you don't learn a little bit about it. Not to point the finger in any way, but chances are if you do have a virus then it's something that you did, not the computer. I would suggest keeping up on your virus definitions and scanning often. If you don't have any virusscan software and can't afford it there are several free options out there that may not be as functional as mcafee or norton, but still do the job that they're supposed to do.

Question though, when your computer shuts down does it turn on without a problem afterwards, or do you have to wait a while? If you have to wait then I would say that the problem is probably your cpu too, but if it turns on again without a problem then the problem more than likely lies elsewhere.

Definitely get a cooling board/fan. They're usually $30 or less and will save your "boys" from any unwanted harm. Oh, and it helps your computer stay cool and last longer too.

Systems Administrator checking in, so if you got problems on the Windows side, or VM side or hardware, I might be able to help.

(lol @ the vm domain DNS problem)
Always have 1 physical box, and let the VM be a backup

We have 3 ESX farms running with anywhere between 700-3000 servers running on each in production and another 2 farms (small) in test and I'm making a 3rd one as we speak

Then I would say that it wouldn't be an overheating cpu, because once it overheats it doesn't just cool off immediately. I would say that a good start would be to run a couple of good virus scans with updated definitions and see if you get any results there. Also, go ahead and run the hijackthis scan to see what that turns up.

Another question, do you ever get the blue screen of death? Also, does windows completely load (like you actually make it to the desktop), or does it give up when trying to load?

You might want to try booting to safe mode and seeing how that works out for you.
