Motorola T505

I was searching for Bluetooth headsets and I came across this new product that Motorola offers. It's called the Motorola T505 and nearly every review on Amazon is 4-5 stars. Does anyone here have any experience with it?

I have the T305 and its pretty good. I would expect the T505 to be even better. It's easy to set up. Just turn on the device, discover it with your phone, and you are set. After that your phone should automatically recognize the device every time you turn it on. The volume is pretty loud and the quality is very clear. Motorola does make one of the clearest loudspeakers available.

The only thing I don't like about it (T305) is the cheesy ring tone. Not sure what the T505 would be like.

Are these things vulnerable to heat or can I leave it in my call all summer? I'm asking this mainly for if I'm out with friends and it stays in my car.

I just picked one up this weekend... Had a 2nd gen jawbone headset with the new phone and it sucked.. no volume. Decided since the ONLY time I'd want or need bluetooth would be in-car, so when I saw the FM feature, I grabbed a T505.

Install:
Brainless... hooks onto the visor and looks decent in the car when you notice it. No wiring, no nuth'n... just charge it, pair it and clip it.

Performance:

Sofar I've placed one call.. just picked it up. Reported that I sounded fine, and the caller sounded fine to me. Works about as good as any decent speaker phone. Good sound and volume through the unit itself or the car volume through FM interface.. So I'm happy with either.

More to come as I receive calls and use it a bit more but sofar, I like it. Just for FYI.
Here's a cute advantage with not having it hard-wired... It can go anywhere... another car, or anywhere where you'd like a speaker-phone.

Mini USB plug for charging... I do not know and have not tried to just plug into a PC port USB cable to charge. I dunno and I'm not risking it. :)

Interesting...this might replace my need for a parrot. Says you can stream music from a device to the radio as well. Might get rid of my 6' long cord that runs from the Aux. jack to my Treo.

FYI...this can be found at Treonauts for $99.

It streams via bluetooth, but though I've not tried it, I'd sure wouldn't expect decent sound quality... sound about as good as a pretty strong FM station maybe.
