For a Laptop, yeah, the price / performance of it is decent. You probably won't be running full settings on about half of those games, but you'll be able to play them for sure. Just beware of overheating... Dell laptops with graphics cards in my experience tend to overheat due to bad thermal design, however they might have sorted this out with the Vostro line as it's fairly new.... GL,

My dv6500 had basically the same config, with the exception of 4gb ddr800. Most of the games you listed I was able to play on high setting. Cod is another story. I could only handle it around medium-high with all the advance graphics scaled down to lower resolutions (that's y I went back to my desktop with 8800GT and sold the laptop for $1500). So for the specs and price, its a good deal.

Get you a good mouse and keyboard too if you plan on gaming with it IMO. I can't use the trackpad for any games. I highly recommend the Razer Copperhead & Razer Lycosa.

I didnt bother with a graphics card as I dont play games. I just need fast processing for my 200+ Photoshop filters and HDR processing.
