PC Gaming is still great! I built my current setup almost a year ago (could buy almost the exact same for $800 now), and it still plays games (except Crysis) maxed out no problem. PC parts are so freaking cheap right now, you can build a gaming machine for less than some consoles, and have more "horsepower".

is gt5 prologue just like an extended demo? Its not a full game correct? The reason i say this is cuz of the title and the $40price tage all big new titles start at $59.99.

its not really an extended demo, more like an unfinished game.

its got 71 cars and 6 tracks (+ a variation for each track) which is alot more than alot of full fludged car games out there. plus online, split screen and it will be getting updates as the development of the game progresses.

the full game will have about 700+ cars and 45+ tracks.

but its got that "unfinished" feel to it. which is because, its an unfinished game essentially.

bottom line: if it didnt have the Gran Turismo name, the online went under polishing, added training sessions, with a little tweaking to get rid of the unfinished feel, it could sell for a full $60 game.

One of the best and funnest RPGs out. I love how you can actually lose people in the war stages. And I certainly like having so many people on my side. Recruiting them was fun too, for some of it.

Crysis is fun so far. I'm at the end (i think), which is really really wierd. I think the graphics are great and the game play is quality FPS. I just wish more weapons could be carried.

yeah thats what i was thinking when i seen what it was gonna be priced at it came acrossed as half-assed to me so i havent really touched it yet. So the intent is releasing a full version via multiple updates or will there be a separate full game release?

Finished Crysis. I thought it was a great game. Good stroy, good game play, and room for Crysis 2.

QFT, PC > ALL CONSOLES
I just finished building mine, and i can tell you this, i will never buy another console again.

I spent a little over $1000, and i can play just about any game on max settings on a 1680x1050 res (except for Crysis of course) and they're infinitely upgradeable, that is they don't go out of date and cost u $$$$$.

PC's will make a come back. Especially since 360 and PS3 is about 400 and a 32" HD TV (required to get all the graphic pontentail) is about 1300. So thats 1700 bucks just for some ok (not good, just ok) graphics. The only think you can do on an 360/TV is play games and watch movies/TV. A computer can do all that and let you post stuff on this forum, download porn, find the answer to almost any question, type reports, etc ...
You can get a computer and monitor that will out run any console for 800 bucks. Thats more than half the price of console/tv. Plus the games are at least 10 bucks cheaper.
