Stupid Wal-mart and their monopolizing ways...I don't really care either way though.

Ok, I haven't really been reading up on my HD vs. Blue-Ray news...just read about Wal-Mart refusing to back HD now, and figured they had an influence since they're so large.

Yeah I just read this on MSN. I don't think it should be a surprise to anyone.....BluRay has been dominating the market for a while now. Here is the link

Damn format wars, I feel bad for the people who spent $500 on players that will be useless in a few months when their favorite movies aren't released on HD-DVD.

Expect every title released in HD-DVD to be on sale soon...that's the consolation prize for this story.

I wonder how long it will be until someone creates a Blu-Ray to HD-DVD ripper?

It's not just Walmart, Netflix and other corporate "video" giants also deemed that they'll only carry BD. So...good time to buy some of those HD-DVD movies for cheap.

I really want to pick up an HD-DVD drive now, so I can finally have reason to pick up Transformers in Hi Def. I've been meaning to make a stop at GameStop to see about buying a unit used...
