I'm getting one at the end of the march.

My advice is WAIT until they get the phones in. Because if they order it you have to pay for the Premium package even if you can't use the features like the navigation or what ever.

We would have ordered it but theres alot of fees if you break contract, if they don't have the phone in the store.

So i would wait until they have them in stock. Shuld be soon, my guy at the Verizon store said they are getting them in. all the orders have been filled so now are getting sent to the stores.

but other then that. The phones really nice. I was playing wih this kids phone, and i loved it. go to the store and see if you like it. they shuld have one on dispaly.

I have it, just got it last week. Yes they had to order it, but it's sweet if you are a high tech person.

I have the Voyager. The only thing that isnt all that great with it is the Internet.

I give the phone an 9/10 and the Internet a 7/10.

Out of curiosity, what is the internet browser like? The reason I ask is because verizons 3g network is great and I love browsing on my treo, but at the same time I would love to go down to a voyager simply because I could have a normal plan instead of a smartphone plan.

The internet on the phone isn't the true internet, it uses verizon's crappy mobile web 2.0 browser which is found on their free phones and works through a proxy. Doesn't work with newer web pages very well at all.

^Well that sucks. On the treo I get the "true internet" perfectly.

I don't understand why they would make some phones just have a browser that can do whatever and other phones have a browser that works through a proxy and can only access specific websites, that makes no sense to me whatsoever.`

i have the voyager too... got it when it first came out... no probs. the touchpad is a lil sensative if you try and text fast and you can accidently send the mesage or erase words.
but the phone is sleek and sexy. and i got a shocker sticker on the back that looks badass on it. haha.

I don't know why, VZW does some silly and annoying things to their phones though. The one thing that's good about the Voyager is that it does not require a data plan, unlike the blackberries which have a real browser. Maybe that's a reason why they did it?

i had the voyager when it first came out, but returned it after hearing about them allowing other phones and 3rd party software in the future. I kind of wanna wait and see what other phones become available when this come out.

I got a call from verizon today telling me that it was time to upgrade (new every 2) and that if I selected a phone that would be over $100 after new contract that I would get an additional hundred dollars off. So I think that it might be voyager time for me too. I was looking at the features of the voyager and it lists "html internet browsing." I would think that means that you get the "real internet" through the browser.

Anyone with a voyager want to chime in? Maybe you could double check by logging onto 8th?

My friend has the voyager, and hes let me play around with it a bit.. it seems like it will get scratched really easily, from either touching it, or coins and such in your pocket rubbing against the screen.. the camera on it is really nice for sure though, and the music is a plus i guess.. it's nothing too fancy.. it's basically an envy with a better camera and a touch screen

Another question.. can you assign mp3's and ringtones with the voyager? I refuse to pay for another ringtone in my life.. I know that the voyager is the update to the enV and that the enV doesn't have that capability, which really bothered me. With my treo all I had to do was download a program (ringo pro) and I had full mp3 ringtone capability.

I know that I got a call from verizon today about it I added it up to being $199, but at the same time if you order online you get an instant $50 discount. I would like to know if the $100 discount can be combined with the $50 discount, because that would be awesome. I really can't wait to get back to a normal plan, this $120+ a month is killer when you don't have a job. :X

I went to see one a few days ago because I'm coming up on my year in the contract where I get a phone at the discounted rate. Honestly, the phone seemed a bit too crammed/busy for my liking. Now I'm not sure what I'm gonna replace my phone with

mine was 330 with new every two rebate/car charger and two day shipping because they were out of stock.

the phone is sweet, dropped it first time today in class...it just bounced...no marks at all.

my computer has bluetooth so you can transfer the pics back and forth, which is cool. Also my D3 has BTB-200 and it works with that, so when I get into the car it just connects without me having to do anything.

My motorolla Q was able to assign the songs as ringer, but with this I am not able to figure out how to get the song as a ringer wihtout downloading it from VCAST.

If you enjoy texting and want a sweet touch screeen, then this is it. Best of both worlds, you can open it up and BAM there is the full keyboard...or if felling techy just touch the screen.

Honestly it's the coolest phone I've ever owned.

Oh, and the speakers on this thing are loud and actually sound great if you have cool ringers.

You can't do MP3 ringtones on it, I don't think you can do it on any Verizon phone, they want you to pay for it.

Look into BitPim, if it works with the Voyager it'll let you turn MP3's into ringtones and upload them onto the phone. I did it with my VX9800 as a test for a friend, but I don't use ringtones.
