i had a palm... hated it. the new ones with windows on them arent bad but the palm os is gross. imo. I have a Moto W385 right now. its not too bad. its hacked like a mofo though because verizon takes all the good crap off of them and fills it with garbage. not to mention trying to block access to using it with my laptop for internet. its not a 'pimp' phone it lacks bling. but call quality is awesome the battery lasts forever which my razor did not. it takes a beating and i can get signal almost anywhere. even almost impossible places like MRI suites and most server rooms.

I just got the LG VX10000 Voyager w/6GB MicroSD and let me tell you it's amazing I compared it to my friends Iphone and in the end it's not an Iphone but as for phone funtionality and Txt it blows the Iphone away in features. It's a not an Iphone killer as some call it but it is a much more functional alternative to the Iphone with more features and 4G capable with TV antenna for TV watching something I phone does not have. and the touch screen is very acurate

Actually palm os is pretty great and simple. The pain is trying to pair it and find software for it. I have a macbook and my WM6 Treo so imagine that. I wanted the 680 but found a better deal on a 750 :].. I find WM for Pocket PC to be sluggish. The best firmware I've seen on a phone is the sidekick. Sure its not for the prosumer but its just great. Fast, easy.

I love Motorola, sadly they don't have anything new and worthwhile on Verizon, I had the Rizr for a month or so but it was time to move on. Tried LG again and I remembered why I hated them before. On my second Samsung in about 2 years and so far so good, already looking for something new but seems Verizon has expended it's self getting new phones for Christmas so I might be stuck with the u900 for a while . I refuse to get a Voyager, complete garbage.

Just got my Voyager today. I had the Venus before, and it was buggy and unresponsive compared to the Voyager. I can't say the Voyager is an iPhone killer, but it costs less and has a full QWERTY keyboard, which is the real reason I bought it. We'll see if it has any annoying quirks. Always takes me a couple weeks to settle into a new phone.

I've had more problems with my LG phones than my Motorolas. My 8700's hinge almost fell off after a couple months of ownership. My 9400 wasn't too bad but the weird swivel got annoying. The 8800 "Venus" was problably the most least quality phone I've had in the past 2 years, which is saying a lot since I've had 12... Only Motorola I've had a problem with was the Razr.

I have an LG enV and like it. I had Motos and seems like every hinge became lose in just a few weeks. Dont think I'll ever get a Moto again.

eh..stuff happens never heard of any problems with the 8700, the hinge on the 9400 phone is the selling point, so if you didnt like it..shouldnt have bought it. dont know anything about the venus. dont get me started on the razr.. i havnt had a problem with any moto phones because i havnt owned any..but i have with thier bluetooth, damn thing just stopped working after a week, and they wouldnt warranty it because i didnt have the receipt. and everyone i know at work has a moto, and they suck.
